iPhone 12 Review

 iPhone 12 Review

The iPhone 12 is a smartphone that marked a new direction for Apple at the time of its launch, combining a refreshed design with excellent performance and 5G support. Even today, it remains a solid choice for many users.

Design and build quality

Apple has returned to the flat edges of the iPhone 4 and 5, giving the phone a modern and elegant look. The aluminum frame and glass back look great, and the Ceramic Shield on the front increases drop resistance. The phone is lightweight (164 g) and fits comfortably in the hand.

Display

The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display is one of the iPhone 12's biggest strengths. It offers brilliant colors, deep blacks, and high brightness. The lack of 120Hz may be a drawback for more demanding users, but the image quality is still very high.

Efficiency

The A14 Bionic processor ensures smooth system and app performance, even with more demanding tasks and games. The iPhone 12 easily handles the latest versions of iOS and still has plenty of power to last for years to come.

Apparatus

The dual 12MP cameras (wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle) take excellent photos day and night. Night mode works well, and 4K video recording with HDR (Dolby Vision) is one of the best in its class. However, it lacks a telephoto lens.

Battery and charging

Battery life is decent, though not impressive—with heavy use, the phone requires charging at the end of the day. The downside is the lack of a charger included in the box. MagSafe support is an interesting and convenient addition.

Summary

The iPhone 12 is still a very good smartphone: fast, solidly built, and with an excellent screen. It's not perfect (no 120Hz, average battery), but for those who value stability and the Apple ecosystem, it's a great choice.

Advantages:

  • great OLED screen

  • high efficiency

  • very good quality of photos and videos

  • elegant design
